There is a months supply of capsules and tablets here.

There is a months supply of capsules and tablets here. The multi-vitamin and mineral one is a small (ish) tablet, and the omega three and krill oil is a capsule. I found the multi-mineral one much easier to take than the very large one I get from my high street supplier. Some people and I am one, really struggle with the larger tablets whatever their shape. As I said these are smaller torpedo shaped similar to the high street ones, which I really struggle with. Multi minerals are quite expensive but I believe that of all the food supplements, these are worth taking as the soil is seriously depleted and the vegetables we eat today are much lower in trace elements than say 80 years ago. This is all verifiable. The capsules contain krill oil, Omega 3 lutein esters, and Zeaxanthin. There is evidence that these are good for eyes, and as we live longer, personally for the sake of a £1 a day or whatever it works out as, as we get older, I want to keep the food supplements of this type up. To put it in context, what do you spend on your car or maintaining the house? It is impossible for anyone to say just how they benefit from these supplements, you need to examine the evidence and give you and your family the best chance and try to avoid my old friend who has just died, who went both blind and deaf some years before his death- to prevent one of those would have been a fantastic bonus. You can but try

Vitabiotics are the UK's No.1 Vitamin Company, and Visionace Max

Vitabiotics are the UK's No.1 Vitamin Company, and Visionace Max Formula is their ‘top of range’ eye care supplement; a mutivitamin and mineral supplement specifically formulated to main healthy eyes/ eyesight in general and a healthy retina in particular. It contains all the standard vitamins and minerals found in their Wellteen ranges, though not necessarily in the same quantities, and it has substantially higher than daily NRV levels of natural Vitamin E, C, B6, B5 , B12; manganese and selenium. Visionace Max’s strength and selling point though are the extra micronutrients that are also included, specifically 34mg of Lutein esters, combined with zeaxanthin, bilberry extract, natural mixed carotenoids, + highest purity Omega3 DHA and Krill oil capsules. The formula is targeted at maintenance of normal vision, normal functionning of the nervous system and protection of retina cells from oxidative stress, and potentially, macular degeneration further done the line. An article in the Daily Telegraph from 18 March 2011 highlighted scientific research that although ‘vitamins A, C, E and zinc can help keep the eye healthy, it is carotenoids, the pigments that occur naturally in plants and algae, which offer the most precise way of targeting the damage that causes sight loss. In particular, the carotenoids lutein and zeaxanthin seem to act directly to absorb damaging blue and near-ultraviolet light, in order to protect the macula.’ The article goes on to say that we should be eating 6mg of lutein a day but the average consumption is 2mg. This is precisely the area where Visionace Max truly excels, providing a whopping 34 mg of Lutein esters, before you include zeaxanthin, bilberry extract, and natural mixed carotenoids. You would have to eat your way through an awful lot of marigolds and kiwi fruit to get this protection from your daily diet. Lutein needs fat to be absorbed and the omega-3 and krill oils help in that respect also. For £20.13, you get 28 top quality multivitamin tablets and 28 omega-3 DHA and Krill oil capsules. You take both together with a main meal to aid absorption. Not cheap perhaps, but your eyes are well worth that Investment. Of course, you should also be eating a balanced healthy diet, but this is definitely your insurance policy if you want lifelong healthy eyes and vision. .

Well packaged product that contains 2 pills for a combined dose. No idea of longterm benefits but no I'll effect for taking g them for a week. They have Red Krill oil in them, which I've taken to stop my eyes running when cold in the past plus the normal array of vitamins and omega 3. I can't think of a reason not to take a daily vitamin supplement and as I've worn contact lenses for the past 30 years anything that aids my eyes can't hurt. Attached photo shows full details.
