Everything fermented is a big hit to me! I have read many articles and watched many documentaries talking about the bioavailability of the fermented stuff. This iron definitely doesn�t make my tummy ache as some iron supplements made it in the past. It is easy to absorb and gentle on stomach. There is 30 capsules in a dark glass bottle with the plastic lid. One a day preferably at mealtime. No wheat, gluten, dairy, artificial colours or flavours! Women always need extra iron, but it is also needed for the reduction of everyday stress and tiredness. I have taken one capsule religiously everyday for 28 days so far and I do believe it worked great for me! I would definitely get this iron again and would recommend it!
I've used this and other supplements from solar in past and although there a little more expensive I think they are worth extra.I use iron daily and previously had prescribed but I find this much more gentle on system.This arrives boxed and bottle is sealed with plastic cover and paper seal.The capsules are easy to swallow and have no flavour.I take one every morning with breakfast.
I am always impressed with Solgar supplements. As a vegan they always make any supplement that can be made vegan suitable for vegans. Plus the quality of their ingredients are 2nd to none. This fermented iron comes in a container with 30 vegetarian capsules. If you take the recommended daily dose of one then it will last a month. You get a long date on it. It expires about 18 months from the date of ordering. At just over a tenner it�s not too expensive and worth considering if you are looking for a Koji iron supplement.
Solgar is a great well known brand for vitamins and minerals. I've been using them for years with various supplements . These iron tablets are slow release, and seem to give a nice amount of energy after taking them. They don't taste of much, and need to be taken with water. So far so good and fully recommend. I didnt have any side effects whilst taking these , and as its made from vegetables I can take with confidence.
I have taken lots of different types of iron. The one I find most effective with the least side effects are Spatone iron water and (surprisingly!) iron gummies. However, they�re both very expensive to take at a decent dosage on an ongoing basis so I always keep my eye out for good alternatives. I have slightly low ferritin (heading into iron deficiency) which makes me feel weak and easily fatigued from light exercise, even walking slowly for 15 min or less. This is AMAZING! I feel much more energised when taking it alongside 1000mg Vitamin C with my breakfast. Walked for 2 hours non stop yesterday. I have a sensitive stomach and easily suffer from digestive troubles but don�t get any negative effects from this. Brilliant! Capsules are average size and easy to swallow with water. It�s still relatively costly if you take it daily (£13.99/month) but at 27mg I�d eventually go down to taking it every other day as it would be too high a dose once my ferritin levels are better. An excellent product that�s suitable for vegans (which many iron products aren�t). I have tested many different brands and am trusting of Solgar. They usually find a happy medium of good quality ingredients and fair pricing.
These are a really great way to supplement your daily iron needs without causing stomach upsets or constipation. Usually the gentle Iron supplements can typically be 7mg or 14mg and as they are not fully absorbed then you don't get your 100% daily value. I did use the Iron supplement by superself which was 17mg As this one has 27mg I find that this is a really great amount to help with everyday iron requirements. Even with this higher amount, I have not had any issues with stomach pains or constipation. It is a little expensive compared to typical iron supplements but if your issue is getting a decent amount without side effects then this is definitely worth a try. Having sufficient iron levels makes a massive difference on energy levels and is something lots of Vegetarians and Vegans are low on. Great product. Will continue using this.
