I’m no protein expert. Bought as doctors advised increase of protein for wound healing post operation. Very sweet, but taste pretty good. Found they had to be really cold or I couldn’t get them down. Once chilled, these taste great. Satisfies the sweet craving after dinner too. Win- Win!

So I will start by saying I have tried a LOT of protein bars over the years, a crazy amount and Grenade have NAILED it... these are as close to a chocolate bar you are getting and to be honest I have swapped by chocolate fix with these. Nice addition to my daily supplements. I find I am more focused an train that bit harder then before. I do stick with the advised single serving but I do add extra creatine to bring it up to the daily recommended dosage. The name is what first attracted me , old school ultimate orange was the dogs .... ;)

I thought I'd try this to give me an extra energy boost as being a mum I find it hard sometimes to get motivated for exercise. I found this a great energy booster I absolutely love it but the berry flavour is awful and was giving me a lot of indigestion. I tried different things to improve the flavour - smoothies mixing it with other drinks such as fruit juices to improve the flavour but nothing worked. Finally I tried mixing a strawberry yoghurt into the mixture and surprisingly it worked! The taste is so much better and I dont get any indigestion after drinking it :) I would definitely recommend adding yoghurt to the mixture!
