I tried to order my usual sci mx diet meal replacement but see it's unavailable (I hope that doesn't mean we won't see it again) In comparison to the previous formula, which I have been using for years, this one is too watery and too sweet. Please advise if the old one is coming back.

I usually buy a different brand of meal replacements (TPW) but thought I would try this brand given the great price. I shouldn't have bothered. I bought the vanilla flavour, you cant go wrong with vanilla can you? Wrong! This initially tastes like melted ice cream, but then you're hit with an awful chemical/artificial after taste. It actually made me gag. It did blend OK, but it was frothy and weird... I'll stick with what I know and like in the future.

I used to have the old version of this regularly, then it was discontinued. This new formulation is awful. It's not a shake, it's a very watery super sweet chocolate water. Even using bare minimum of water it's watery and not a shake. Taste is super sweet even for my sweet tooth. Avoid. Wish I could return my order but I've opened it and tried it for a few days.

This makes a great go to meal replacement for anyone on a nutrition plan which requires a calorie deficit and is macro controlled on the side of protein, and being January weight loss is on a lot of peoples minds so this is a perfect way to help that on the way. Vanilla is a great base flavour which will allow you to add fruit to the mix making it even more nutritious. The flavour is pleasant and not overly strong but is on the sweet side. We tend to add more water to a portion as meal replacement shakes do seem quite thick, this obviously helps increase hydration levels also. Due to the low cal nature of this product, this can be used like a diet whey mix also pre/post workout to aid recovery which makes this quite versatile. We use a lot of this type of product in our household, so this will be used well. Recommended
